1BA RELIEF CONNECT AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

1BA is leveraging social media to help connect organizations and individuals providing relief services and support to citizens in Ghana that need them. Via artworks and social media publicity, the organization is sharing contact information and areas of support of reliefs to help reach the needy. For example, though this campaign, 1BA was able to connect an orphanage in Shai Hills to Givers International Mission, as a result, 85 kids were supported with food items.

What is COVID-19?

Coronaviruses are a type of virus. There are many different kinds, and some cause disease. A newly identified type has caused a recent outbreak of respiratory illness now called COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease, discovered in 2019) that started in China.

As of now, there is not a specific treatment for the virus. People who become sick from COVID-19 should be treated with supportive measures: those that relieve symptoms. For severe cases, there may be additional options for treatment, including research drugs and therapeutics. (source: worldmerit.org)
